PSU not working

Have computer properly mounted in case and I have the power switch connected correctly to the motherboard. I have been having trouble with my PSU, when I hit the power switch, the fan on the video card spins just for a second and thats it, more likely half a second. I bought this mobo a year ago so I don't think it's the board, any suggestions?
