I just bought a case, and i really dislike the location of the PSU, i was thinking of moving it towards the front of the case, is that a bad idea?

okay here's the layout of my case...the PSU is above where the CPU should be, so i want to move it to the right of the mother board, any input would be great. thanks

Not a horrible idea. Downside is you're introducing the heat from the PSU into the case air instead of it being the last thing to use the "dirty" air before it exits. But if you're going to put a nice exhaust fan up where it used to be, who knows, in your specific use it might be better overall. Not likely, but not likely it's going to make a huge difference anyway.

Is it just in the way or what?
