PSU issue

After I replace my mobo, and then maybe my cpu at the same time, if I still have heat issues, and suspect the psu, check this out:

if you send it in, and it's not broken, 25$ charge.

so, how would I know it is a psu issue or not

Why would your PSU be the cause of your heat problems?

What are your temps, what is your computer hardware, what is the temp inside your house, yadadada...?

a few people on here said they thought my temps could be a psu/voltage issue.

a8n32: idle 44C
opty 170: idle: 44C
psu seasonic s12 500w
x1800xt 512 w/accelero 48C idle
2 120mm front and back fans
1 side across from cpu fan 92mm
thermaltake tsumani
cpu fan amd new quad pipe temp in house in the mid 80s day, 70s at night temps cool off 3C-5C in the night.

I see nothing wrong with that.......$25 is reasonable!
After all your wasting there time and your also asking them to tear apart the PSU to verify that it is working...what is wrong with that?

I would more likely blame it on a faulty CPU fan or something similar than a PSU voltage rail.

Your house temp is 70-80C?! Either your house is in Death Valley or you live in a sauna 😉

Mr. bauer, it seems you take issue with every piece of the hardware in your comp. Many
of your posts indicate this, maybe a Dell would suit your needs best 😀

I just don't know what piece of hardware is the problem. I have had people say it's either the mobo, cpu, case or psu. I don't want a dell, just trying to find my problem.

I doubt very much that a PSU would cause any heat problems.
I switched out my Vantec 535W to my present Seasonic 600W and haven't noticed a change in temps. The only noticeable temp change is when I added a side intake to my PC-60s, which improved about 3C/4C.
