PSU help

I have no clue how to hook my PSU up. I thought I did and when I turned the computer on nothing happened. I got this blinking red light. The manual with it really didn't do anything but make me more confused.

Specs are:

PSU: XFX Core Edition Pro 550W

Monitor: LED LCD HANNspree 24in HDTV

Memory: 2x4GB Mushkin Radioactive

Hard Drive: 500GB Seagate Barracuda

Mobo: Asus M5A97 R2.0

CPU: AMD FX 6300

Video Card: XFX HD 7950 Core Edition 3GB

Blinking red light where? On the motherboard?

What cables did you plug in? FYI cables will only fit in the connectors they're meant to.

It's also possible the PSU or the motherboard is faulty.

I thought I put them all in the right place. But I have a ton of extra ones and I am trying to figure out why.

The dram_LED light.

It is brand new, I just got the parts a week ago.

The light wasn't on earlier.

I got a different PSU because the graphics card needed two PCI-E connectors.
