I've been needing to get a new PSU for a couple of weeks now, but I was also wanting to upgrade my whole system so I put it off as long as a could to make sure I got the right one, being it is one of the most important parts. Well the new system is about finished and it is:

DFI LAN party UT (NVIDIA 250GB, 754)
AMD 3700 1MB
1.5GB Ultra Geil pc-4000
1 74GB Raptor 2 Seagate 120GBs and 1 Seagate 80GB
4 Antec 80mm Stealth case fans
Thermalright XP-90 (or 120 if it fits, I have email to customer support) w/mid-output Panaflow
Audigy2 zs sound
6800GT
1 each of optical and floppy

I hope to OC to 2.6GHz (from 2.4) nothing to much, and I hope to OC the Video card a little as well.

I am down to 2 PSU, the Antec NEO 480 and the PC Power and Cooling 510 Deluxe. I know the PC P&C is the best made, but is it worth the extra 100 dollars for my system. I would have went with the OCZ 520 if it wasn't for that neon light on the back because I thought it had the best of everything, cheaper price and great build quality, but don't want the light. All I want from this CPU is years of stable good power and to not be heard.

go wtih the neopower. both are great psu's, but anything higher then 480W is overkill, hence not worth the extra $.

Another psu you might want to consider is the Enermax 460 whisper 2. It's got a pretty respectable output, 35-35-33 , for $75 NE.

I've seen a few people around different forums having problems with the NeoPower because of the split 12v rails but it could have just been lemons. I'd go for the PC Power & Cooling. Might as well get the best. Maybe get like a 3400 1mb proc and use the extra money towards the psu.

I personally went with the OCZ PowerStream 520w. I also don't like the green led fan on the back, but I don't think its going to be much of a problem or distraction.
