my powersupply has a wire that powers up the fan and needs to be plugged into the motherboard

can i plug it into any cpu fan ? cuase my manual says i have

cpu fan
cha2 fan
pwr fan
chip fan
cha1 fan

i have my processor fan plugged into the cpu fan where t i plug in the psu fan ?

i did that right now and the power supply works but the fans arent working :-( what could it be im using a antec sonata 2 case with the powersupply it came with antec smart power 2.0

Don't panic, this is expected.
Our best-selling power supplies are now super quiet thanks to Unique Dual Fan Technology-the exhaust fan starts to spin only when the power supply reaches certain temperatures, while the second fan is thermally regulated.
This means the pwr fan header will signal the PSU to spin up the second fan when the interior of the case gets too warm. The exhaust fan will kick in if the interior of the PSU starts getting too warm.
