PSU capabilities?

I have an X-Superalien Case with a 500W powersupply that came with it. Right now it powers six 120mm LED fans, the 2 fans in the PSU, one 5700 graphics card with a fan, CPU fan, 1 Raptor, one 250 gig HD, 2 dvd-r drives. Can it power 1 more 250 gig SATA HD? Does stressing a power supply create Windoze errors? Thx.

Stressing a PSU can cause more than errors in Windows. It can cause hardware failure and/or damage. What brand does the PSU say on it? Also look on the label and post the AMPs ratings. 520 Watts is more than enough if it's a legit PSU, but I have a feeling its not.
