PSU Cable Configuration Questions

I have an Enermax liberty modular power supply. What I like best about the modular PSU is that it limits case clutter to only what you need for your devices.

That being said, I do not want to overload my cables...here is my current configuration:

One dedicated GPU cable.

One cable that connects my two IDE DVD-ROM drives and my floppy drive.

One ATX cable to the MOBO.

Now here is where I have a concern...my MOBO has a four prong power connection, which I assumes supplies additional power to the MOBO. The thing is, there are enough connectors on this one cable that I can also connect all four of my system fans to it. Will it cause a problem if the MOBO and the fans all connect on one power cable, or should I dedicate one cable just to the MOBO, and use another modular cable to connect my system fans to the PSU?

No, if it were to cause problems, why would they have added those 4 connectors to that one particular cable ? Besides, fans barely draw any power, so no, pretty sure it won't be a problem.

True, but I also use the male and female connectors from each fan, daisy chain them together, and then connect all four fans to one of the four prong connectors along the power cable...if I gave each fan its own dedicated power connector, I would need another cable from the PSU just for fans.

Should have specified that in my original post, but I guess the real question is, can I use one power cable to daisy chain and connect my four case fans AND connect one connector to the MOBO by itself?

I think daisy chaining is NOT a good idea, you could probably daisy chain 2 of them, but 4 ? Current running through that single connector will increase each time you add a fan. I don't know where the limit is though. Wait for someone else to clarify.
