PSU adjustable 3, 5, and 12v rails.

I am getting a new OCZ powerstream 430. It has adjustable knobs for the rails. If my Asus Probe voltmeter reads a bit off, I can just go ahead and play around with the knobs on-the-fly till I get an even 3,5, and 12? That is awsome! Why doesn't every PSU have this?
 
Because unless you're using a multimeter, you're not getting an accurate reading anyway.

I really wouldn't adjust the voltages unless you're using a multimeter. Probe, or any other monitoring program for that matter, is really just to monitor any changes. Not give you an absolute voltage.
 
This is a new device/pod for experienced users and if every PSU hadem then I suspect that many HW devices would burn out by people who like to twist knobs...Plus Mobos are startinting to have setting which call for more v's. You wanna play then be prepared to pay the consiquences if you dunno what you're doing...

Sometimes the Niceguy has to be explained the facts in any form😉...as Amaroque stated you will need 1 multimeter for accurate readings apps or not...

This is a Great unit. I would recommend using a GOOD multi meter if you are going to adjust the rails. When I received mine the 3.3 was right on the money 3.32VDC actually, 5vdc was also good 5.06 the 12 volt was a little off 12.34vdc Well with in the 5% thought. As to adjusting underload or not I would adjust itat a idol. it is a very response PSU I even charted mine with my Fluke 87 III there was almost no change from idol to full load.
 
Mine is not the mod so I had to placed clips on the molex for the 12 and 5VDC the 3.3 I stuck in from the back fot the atx connector
