I have to agree that Bush IS a smart man for the sole reason that, he knows he's kind of the village idiot. So he surrounds himself with a strong cabinet of extremely bright individuals...

I'm still irritated that I'm getting a tax refund this year and should be paying instead. I hate to think that I'll be paying for this little refund for the next couple of decades when the govt loses more of its surplus.

This concept has always made me laugh. Since when do idiots know who's smart. You can be sure he's also told who to pick. The real horror is that in a job like President of the United States, things happen that require some thinking on your feet.

Actually, living in downtown Toronto we see celebrities all the time, especially during the Film Festival. One actor even showed up at a friend's party once. Most of us simply ignore them (although I'll admit that actor did have a entourage of groupies around him. 😛)
