Glad my grandfather died in WW2 so some of you unappreciative, self righteous fucks could live your lives the way you do today. I'm also glad my best bud of 12 years who graduates in a year from West Point will serve 5 years so you can sit in your cozy desk chair and call his/their tactics cowardly.

I have no problem with the men and women who fought in the WW2 conflict.

I do have a problem with these ignorant kids who are fighting to make a few families rich by destroying a country for oil.

And you know what? I would be sitting in my cozy desk chair regardless if your best friend goes out to murder people in the Middle East. If anything, these soldiers are out there making these people angrier and more dangerous with every single passing day. They are not helping the USA in any way.

Aww, another pesky kid who doesn't know history.

WWII? Japan got pissed once we started reducing, and stopping, oil shipments to Japan, and intervening in their quest for oil.

North Africa was a place where the Allied powers fought to retain, 1) oil, and 2) Allied oversight of the region (British territories and whatnot).

Anyhow, Afghanistan and Iraq, if the war is about oil, are just about the most ridiculous places to fight over oil, considering oil is kind of minimal there. There are other places in that region that have FAR more oil. 😉

Pathetic. Every single one of these threads always gets the terrorist sympathizers to crawl out from their dens. These fools are silly liberals who don't know anything about the world. They know nothing of the ways of war. They know nothing of killing. They know nothing of defending that which you love. They are cowards. It doesn't matter what the reason, they will not ever fight. They would rather let others do the fighting and criticize them from the saftey of their homes. That's what these terrorist sympathizers do. They criticize the work of real men. Men who put themselves at risk. Men who fight. Everyone knows this.
 
I have no problems with this military action - the enemy was prevented from planting an IED and neutralized. Sounds good to me. I do wish that taking lives wasn't immediately followed by the pleasure and joy associated with the whoops, cheers, and laughs heard in the video. Taking a life is a solemn occasion for me, enemy or not.

They weren't prevented. They were allowed to plant it so our forces could make sure they were doing what we thought they were doing. The IED was already set up and the terrrrrrrists were sitting in their car a couple blocks down, waiting to signal the IED when their target passed.

Huh? Looks like the fellas are planting something in the video when, boom, they get asploded. One of the soldiers even reports that they took out the IED placers. shrug.
