Just a friendly FYI, no self promotion is allowed here in the hot deals. Also why would somone by your used system when they can get a new one cheaper?

Demand on the PSpoo has fallen and they are now fairly easy to get at retail.

I think the problem is there is still 5 or 6 months later not one game that makes you say wow, or even do a double take!

Not to stray off topic, but Metal Gear Solid 2 won't be out until at least the beginning of 2002. Hardly a reason to buy the PS2 now.


But some do want this system, so good post, although a duplicate.

areeff - in the 5-6 months that the system has been out, there has been no WOW games, even you an obvious PSpoo fan only listed 4 that are released! madden is a joke compared to NFL2k1 not to mention no online play, that makes madden look even worse. Knockout Kings is better than madden grafix wise, but still not a WOW game also controll leaves alot to be desired, the other 2 PSpoo games you mention i have never played nor seen so i cannot say. MGS2 will be a great game but it is confirmed to be on x-box also and it will look much better there, as X has more power.

Here's one point about PS2 games....


It's not all about graffix.... PS2 gabes afe FUN!
Sony has had, with the PSX, the best games, and that continues with the PS2. These games are damn fun. Maybe NHL2k1 has more "wow" graffix, but it's NOT more fun to play!
Period.

Sony... is... fun!

Metal Gear Solid 2 is coming out in the Fall 2001.
End of 2002? What the heck? Why do you think there's demo's released now. And I'm sure PS2 will go down in price when Gamecube comes out. I read Gamecube price is probably going to be $199.

madden is way, way better than 2k1, madden is all about strategy for the REAL football fans, none of this arcade 'randy moss can catch anything that's within 10 yards of him' shiznitz, there is no comparison whatsoever

I'd have to agree with gqstyle that madden is much much better than 2k1. True that the graphics are better on 2k1, but madden provides much more in play selection and it portrays a more realistic point of view towards the game of football. While i have a difficult time of picking apart the defense in madden, I could score at will against the computer on my first game on 2k1. I think that 2k1 is a joke compared to madden. I know this post does not relate to the original intend of the thread, but i just had to comment on what www4ASearchcom said.
