Of course it will sell along the PSP-3000. Just like the DSi and DS Lite.

But as time goes on the DS Lite and PSP-3000 will phase out.

Also: Why are some people saying this is not the PSP2?

I mean what would convince people of a PSP2? If the hardware is beefier then they will offer downloadable games to take advantage of the hardware. Making it the next PSP.

Like the DSi having beefier hardware to take advange of the DSi downloadable games and DSi cartridges.

Because the only things that are different is a new form factor and the removal of the UMD drive in favor of running games from flash memory. The games will all be the same.

But I guess when you think about it, Nintendo released the Gamecube in a new form factor and a new controller, and that was it.......

It should've been flipped around so the control side covers the screen when shut. That's something I've always hated about the PSP, it's like a crystal figurine just waiting to be dicked up.

I'm guessing it's like that so you can watch videos with it closed.

 The Wii is fully backwards compatible with GameCube games and most accessories.

That and also have quick access to your song playlist. However, with the majority of the buttons hidden, I don't know how useful it'll be.

So a PSP2 may not come out for a long ass time....

If you could download games on the PSP-3000 that would kick ass......

But.....Either get games on UMD or download games and get access to classes like PS1 and PS2 games? Right?

Wait.....

Can you get the same content on a PSP-3000 as you can on a PSP Go?
