Is the only way to get mp3's on a PSP by using the USB cable or can the wifi transfer them?

Huh? Just stick in your MS-PRO into your PC and upload them to that.

If you have custom firmware you can run iR Shell and use nethostfs to transfer files via wifi (you'll need the nethostfs server running on your PC).

Otherwise, no.

What? do you mean the memory card itself?

Yeah. The manual says how to do it. When you bought the memory card, it should have came with a little converter to allow you to upload stuff onto it, like a USB stick or some floppy. Just remember to make a folder called MUSIC and put the MP3s in that. For movies, make a folder called VIDEO, and for pictures, make a folder called PICTURE.

EDIT: Your PC has to have the Memory Stick slot, however, and some don't :( .
