PSP In-Stock at Walmart.com

It's a large bundle but it's available on launch day for anybody who wants one. It might seems like a lot of money but it beats buying it off ebay for $800 like it did when it sold out during the Japan launch.

Get it here.

Different bundle is now up as well.

This exciting PSP bundle features the Sony PSP value pack, an Intec Starter Kit, Intec Aluminum safe case, two Intec game cases and the following games: Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix, Spider-Man 2, Twisted Metal: Head On, Ape Escape: One the Loose and NBA.

$500, to rich for my blood, but I'm sure some AT'ers will be picking this up.

Just like pretty much everybody else. Though all the merchants are smart and know of a little site called "eBay". And know people will buy these way over MSRP just to get their hands on them. This is their way of justifying charging outrageous prices/bundles. They couldn't just sell each unit for $300 or $400 that these units might go for on eBay. Otherwise they could be charged for price gauging. This is their workaround.

In-Stock as in you can actually buy it and they will ship on launch day. Everywhere else is sold out on their pre-order for the March 24th launch.

i have a PSP preordered at EB Games but i might not be on the first shipment. i might have to run over to best buy / target / walmart on the 24th

what it says is,"Preorder this item today and it should ship on 03/24/2005".

not the same thing. Most places at this time, are saying second shippment which is probably going to be the begining of April.

so if you didnt pre-order, gonna be tuff.. (maybe).

That is the default message Walmart.com have for their pre-order items in case the item in question is delayed by the developers. If you look at the message below that. It clearly states that "This PSP bundle will ship on March 24th with the PSP launch." I'm sure this is their initial allocation.

ahhh, my bad.

and for those that are expecting, well i wish them good luck. most places are saying second shippment, but if you didnt preorder what do you have to lose?

(btw, i would rather wait a week or two then to have to get all those games for $500.) i got pre-order for 250 and getting one game/two tops.

g/l

ridge racer for sure. need for speed maybe. thinking of that rpg that is same day (gonna check it out) gt4 for it should be good...

thanks for posting
intec is another branch of performance
a case is definitely gonna be necessary because that psp WILL scratch

BTW - if they do not have inventory and are not shipping it, it is not "in stock". The words are pretty clear. The title should be changed because it is NOT "in stock". Yes, it can be ordered, but for the life of me, there were sites taking orders for Duke Nukem Forever also.

Granted, I think that the PSP is not vaporware, but DNF serves my point well. Definitely not "in stock". Title change or a lock...that's my vote.

Instead of bundling useless junk and crappy games, these retailer should bundle something we can use like 512mb or 1gb memory stick pro duo. I'm buying PSP for video, picture, and audio capability and won't be picking up any games for a longtime as none of the current games or announced games appeal to me. If I want to play games, I much rather have Gameboy SP Advance or DS.

IMO , we should just wait a little longer and just get the PSP itself without the damm bundle. hell, im in no hurry. by then we also have a better chance of a larger library of games that will be out, and we wont have to worry about getting a headach trying to find one in stock or buying one thats bundled with crap we dont need, or price guaged.

do yourself a favor and wait about 6 months. why put yourself through the maddness.

😉
