Yay!

Note that people with version 1.51 and 1.52 PSPs can upgrade to 2.0 and then downgrade to 1.5!

Great, thanks! Post back about your downgrade please. My current PSP is 1.5, but I have a new one coming which should be a 2.0 so I'll want to downgrade it when it arrives.

Version 1.0 and 1.50 let you put homebrew apps, games, emulators, etc. and play them from the Memory Stick. Version 2.0 prevents all that.

I thought the news was announced that they cracked 2.0 and would be able to run emulators on them soon. I mean cant you just wait??? Do you have to play homebrews that bad??? In my opinion homebrews were never that fun.

Homebrews are alright, but emulators are sweet. Think of how many NES games you can fit onto a 1gb stick :)

Then you need to mess with FastLoader. It allows you to back up your entire UMD game into a single ISO file and play it from the memory stick. It makes it so much easier to play backup games on PSP than the PS2. You know what kind of possibilities that'll lead to (hint: sharing ISO)and you know why Sony would not like it.

Worked for me! I've tested a few emulators/homebrew apps and had no problems. :)

Yes, if you're going to post links that aren't safe for work (hence NSFW) please give a warning by simply saying, "NSFW". Some of us don't want to lose our jobs from browsing the forums.
