I don't know how many of you use the sysinternals tool "psinfo", but I've noticed that it seems quite slow when polling computers over a slow link.
I know that the tool uses RPC calls to get registry info from remote machines... does anyone know what in particular is slowing the thing down? It can take well over a minute to get info on one server that's 3000 miles away, and I'm wondering how much network traffic is being used whenever I use this tool.
Thanks for any insight
