If you don't know what below-the-line fees are, here's a quick lesson:

When you look at your bill for service (for whatever, be it wireless, internet, landline, utility, etc), there's usually two (or more) sections. The first section is "above the line", which is the service you're actually billed for. ie: Minutes, data, text messages, kilowatts, etc. Then there's the "below the line" section, which is all the "bolt-on" fees and taxes.

So, take a look at your last month's bill for, say, your cell phone. Post your carrier, and your total below-the-line fees (no need to itemize unless you really want to).

I'll start:

Carrier: PagePlus Cellular
Fees: None* (Any fees are built in as PP+ is a prepaid carrier)

Thanks - exactly what I'm looking for. Note: I wasn't trying to rub it in that I was on prepaid - like I said all my bottom line fees are rolled into the monthly cost and thereby hidden. I'm trying to get a sense on what all the postpaid folks are paying.

I'm surprised we haven't had one of these threads yet.

I too would like to see more posts like the one you quote.
