PSATs Tomorrow

i had mine on wednesday. It is hard, practice the writing part (correcting sentences and such). That is the hardest part for most kids. And if you got a packet w/ a practice test, use it.

uh a high score on the PSAT is SUPER valuable

Only if your score outrageously high to quality for the National Merit Scholarship..

And the PSAT's aren't worth $11.

lol best part is... there was a guy sleeping during thre PSAT's and he was snoring so loudly.. doh ... it was kinda funny 😛

PSAT is meaningless unless you're a national merit. And no its not the same all around the nation. Our high school administered them on wednesday.

<-- National Merit Semifinalist, applied for finalist

got 222 on PSAT (1460), 1580 on SAT

umm.... don't you take this in 8th grade?

<<<< shudders at the thought that 8th gradres are weighing in on the P&N and abortion debates around here

PSATs aren't worth paying the money for.

I didn't have to pay for mine...everyone is required to take'em, so the school covers the cost. And then ultimately the psat people ended up paying me 😀

edit: since others are posting #s...232 PSAT, 1510 SAT
However, scoring well doesn't mean you'll get the scholarship...I think the activities/short essay thing have a role, because my friend got a 236/1580 and he did not get any money from national merit.
