if someone downshifts there is no way he can stop faster than you can brake. If you can't notice someone in front is slowing down then you don't deserve to be on the road.

Deal with it. I routinely just let off the gas to slow down some. My gf keeps telling me I gotta stop doing that but it seems pointless to even tap the brake.

😕 I live in california, silicon valley. You're probably one of those people that breaks on the highway for no apparent reason.

YES! If you aren't going to slow down significantly, don't even TOUCH the brake.

YES! If you aren't going to slow down significantly, don't even TOUCH the brake.

I said some, not significantly. I hate people that brake on the highway for no reason. If you want to slow down some just take your foot off the pedal. Sheesh, its not that hard.
