It took a while to get to 100%. One of halo matches timed out so many times the first 90 seconds took 6 minutes to play.
Then the next 3 were lag fests. that sucked.

Doesn't XBL just facilitate initiation of games, and then the game is played over a direct connection between participants? Why would XBL be responsible for lag?

its not, necessarily. Its probably just due to the massive amount of web traffic. the only thing XBL slows down is matchmaking.
