I always thought wendys had good frys. Burger king has the worst fries of all time. I feel my arteries clogging as I eat them. They have some sort of disgusting unnatural coating on them that reminds me of crisco.

I would hazzard that BK's fries contain no potatos whatsoever. I would hazzard that BK's contain no food whatsoever. So gross...

I had sweet potato fries at the Elephant bar today, by the way, and they were delicious. Crispy, no oil, and sea salted to heaven. of course it could have been the mango Margarita.

Oh, and the waitress, Jesus.

To those that liked the old Wendy's fries, I wonder if it's a regional thing? Around here they were always coldish, soggy, and utterly flavorless. I do know that some restaurants are vastly different from region to region or location to location though.

I think I need to add poal.

Because most people agree with me, that those types of fries are not fit for garden fertilizer. Waste of fries, waste of spices.

Makes sense, except JiTB sells both regular and seasoned curly fries, and sells more curly fries than normal ones. And they cost more...

The new fries are a dramatic improvement.

The only fries i like more are mcdonalds if they are straight out of the fryer.

But wendy's menu crushes mcdonalds.

Side note: the new fries are still awesome to dip in a frosty :D

Yea JiTB's curly fries are awesome. I also really like Carl's/Hardee's criss-cut fries. Extremely similar to JiTB's curly fries just different form and crispier.

I never had a problem with wendy's fries. When I was a kid and ate a lot of fast food, I preferred fries that were flavored well without condiments (BK's 'new' fries, etc). Nowadays, I prefer a hot, crisp, bland french fry with cool ketchup :)

I never had a problem with Wendy's fries. I haven't tried the new ones, but... sea salt, LOL.

The worst fries, IMO, is McDonalds hands down.

I thought the old fries were better. I hate the new ones, I don't get fries from there anymore because of them.

Old fries were better, especially when coupled with a frosty. They were more better saltier and shit.

To be honest, the new fries aren't much different, aside from a teeny sliver of potato skin on the ends. They serve them hot and fresh though, so you burn the fuck out of your mouth.

i thought their old fries were skinny with salt. unless the fries before that were thick fries, in which you haven't seen the new fries yet because the new ones are supposed to be thicker.

McDonalds fries are my favorite for repeated use. I like seasoned fries from different places, but I get tired of them quick. I haven't had the new Wendy's fries, but the old ones were easily the worst in the business. I could count on 1 hand the times they tasted ok, and I'm old :^D

My favorite fries including small places are from the bowling alley, or independent burger joints. They're the rectangular crinkle cut fries, I guess it's Sysco that makes them, but they always have the perfect amount of crispness, and body.

must be dependent on the region then. they've always been skinny fries here.

I just really dislike McDonald's fries because I was never a fan of shoestring fries. Add to that, nearly every fry is covered in two pounds of salt it seems and are devoid of flavor. No thanks.

My favorite fries ever are from Long John Silvers. They're thick cut fries, but they're crispy as hell and have the right amount of seasoning. Never soggy either.

Waidaminit...if Jesus was your server...wouldn't he have been your waiter?
