it was ok but it dragged on for me. my bf loved it.

eric bana was probably the saving grace of that movie though. brad pitt overacted and orlando bloom was spending too much time being pretty.
 
I saw it in the theater with my gf and I really liked it while she only thought it was alright. I rented it the other night however and noticed something that I hadn't noticed in the theater. It's extremely fvcking corny. Bad corny. It's dropped a notch or two in my mind to fairly good.
 
bad music, bad dialog... movie just felt like a mishmash...and i just didn't care about any of it. horrible.

Agreed; Bana does such a good job that he makes most of the others look even worse in comparison.

It was an entertaining movie, but I wouldn't lump it in the same class as Gladiator and Braveheart (as it says on the DVD cover).
