Games cheat.. Its most annoying on an RTS where they can do 15 things perfectly at once and never mess up.

exactly. the only way you can compete is if you had multiple humans on your side, where each player controlled one unit. Then you could stand a chance.

I believe in Dawn of War, when the AI is on the hardest setting their buildings build faster and they gain resources faster. Not 100% positive though.

That's one thing I like about Galactic Civilizations 2.They put a lot of effort into making it play almost like a person. Unless you set the AI above Intelligent, it plays by the same rules you do.

NFS:MW

230mph in a SLR
fiat punto screams past.

wtf

RA2

on the hardest mode would build things so goddam fast, you'd be wiped out before you even got enough money to buy a war factory

Oh, yeah. That one mission where you have to race Hillary in GTA: Vice City. He got a faster, better handling car, and was almost 100% perfect in his driving. You basically had to put a faster car down the block, get in it a few seconds into the race, then drive almost perfectly in this better car to beat him. If that's not cheap/cheating AI, I don't know what is.

Not true. You could beat it with the car they made you bring. But you had to drive perfectly for the entire race. no crashes, no bumps. Even then he doesn't start to fall behind until the end. But if i remember correctly as long as you drive perfectly for the whole thing, he starts to screw up and run into stuff toward the end.
