PSA: Two Things Not To Waste Your $$$ on in Vegas

Just got back from vegas...

1. The dinner buffet at Treasure Island (which is where we stayed)... for 20 something bucks, the selection was very limited and the food was bland (the sushi (eel, salmon and california rolls), mashed potatoes and the corn stuffing just sucked)...overall, this was the worst buffet experience ever in Vegas (been there about 6 times)...i think they just re-did their buffet setup recently...

2. La Femme at MGM Grand - Even you if you get free tickets to this show, you are still getting ripped off...I want my 90 minutes back...

that is all...

* * * PICS * * *
Here are some pics from the room...we were on the 25th floor of Treasure Island. One window faced south and the other faced east...pretty good view of the strip from there...

I am going this weekend! We are staying in the Luxor.

Name some things I SHOULD do...

Definitely catch the Siren show at Treasure Island...it is free and shows 4 times a night...

from last year, the Luxor Buffet and Bellagio buffet rocked...Rio buffet isn't too shabby...

Mystere and 'O' rock and Blue Man Group is so so (better off watching the Complex Rock Tour DVD IMO) definitely not worth $100 a ticket...

Skin Tight at Harrah was pretty good as well...

also, the monorail is kinda of cool, but it is alot of walking still but cheaper than a cab to most places on the strip...

bellagio buffet isnt *that* great. i mean it has good food, but it was REALLy expensive. Not only that, the wait was rediculous. It was about 2 - 2 1/2 hrs....I suggest you get there like around 4pm or even earlier if you want to eat there for dinner/not have to wait a long time.

you gotta go at the very end of the brunch buffet. its cheaper for thing, but you also get grandfathered into the dinner buffet if you hang out for just a little while while they bring out the dinner stuff 🙂

Besides gambling, drinking, and going strip club and paying for dances...err I mean paying to degrade women? I say if you aren't into any of this, you might want to not goto Vegas.
