PSA: The Tips are hot

So I got a new muffler and touched the tip for a split second after a drive and now I have a first degree burn on my finger tip, my previous muffler had tip covers so they never got as hot.

Shit happens. Ive seen numerous people touch their brake rotors after an autox run; apparently they didnt seem to think those would be hot
 
well least you were expecting it. a couple of cars with aftermarket exhausts that stick out i've accident touched it with my leg and yea... shit hurts a LOT more when you know.
 
Thats nothing. One day my car broke down on the highway and i popped hood. I made a dumb mistake of trying to push in a loose spark plug wire thinking it would fix it (wouldn't cause a car to break down) and my freaking finger touched the exhaust header on the engine. I have brown skin and my skin turned white asap and bubbled up.

Stock too, Dodge Vipers and Mini Coopers are known for owners accidentally burning themselves on them.
 
Hahaha, I have a nice burn on my forearm from slipping my arm against the cat while swapping out my exhaust last weekend. Not a pleasurable experience at all.
