PSA: The superbowl will not be that cold

The media is still acting like the players on Sunday will be facing an arctic blast. The Daily Mail today has stories about how they will be using vaseline to ward off frostbite.

So I thought you would all like to know that the forecast Sunday temp for our area, located 30 miles west and 1100 feet higher than MetLife stadium, is 42F.

I think they'll be ok.

You ever see those videos of a duck rolling an egg that fell out of the nest back into the nest with it's bill? Someone takes the egg away, but the duck keeps right on making the rolling motion anyway. I think this is like that.

There must be a way to make money off the fact that everyone else will apparently still be expecting a winter armageddon. Maybe the spread will be tilted against Seattle.

Damn, I thought the cold will take him down...

10000 unsold tickets to the game and 25% vacancy rate at area hotels. New York will never host a Super Bowl again.

its media fearmongering

Its best to just ignore them.
I've been saying that since the first story broke about it possibly being too cold. I don't know what makes them think they can tell the weather 2 weeks in advance when they didn't even know we were going to get hit with snow on Tuesday here. I shoveled 5 inches of partly cloudy off my driveway yesterday morning.
