but i still watch it.

i don't see why they released a DVD screener of it. although the show is good, i don't forsee the shield being anywhere near the top rated shows, even with 8247234 more seasons. it just appeals to a different kind of crowd.

(i watched episode 1 tonight. not bad, but thanks for the spoiler... i'm gonna have to watch ep 2 to see what that's all about. 😛)

Do you have any understanding of how the TV business works? The shield has been a critically acclaimed show and they added a big name cast member. They want to get as much publicity as possible, to do this (just like every other show) they send copies of the show in advance so critics can review it. Go to google news and look at all the stories about Season 4 and Glenn Close joining the cast.
