PSA: South Park - It's a Jersey Thing

I just had to point this out to everyone, even South Park haters.

I told two co-workers that hate south park what tonight is about and they are going to watch it. So, in turn, I am telling all the South Park lovers and haters that tongihts episode could be awesome. Something that does not happen much anymore with that show.

But yet you don't mention what it is about here?

I thought it would be obvious from the title what it is about to everyone but those without a TV. And if that is the case, the show probably won't be funny to them.
But here it is:
Everything east of the Rockies is now part of New Jersey. South Park is in danger of becoming West Jersey within the week. As the Jerseyites spill into Colorado and approach South Park, Randy and the boys stand strong against the onslaught.

So I'm assuming that it has something to do about New Jersey. Well....like what? Are they making fun of toll roads? The "New York" Giants/Jets? Could be anything.

You have heard of a TV show called Jersey Shore? I thought the dim-wits on that show have penetrated the mainstream media enough and are as well known as Paris Hilton these days.

Nope. It doesn't sound like anything I would watch. And due to that, I imagine I wouldn't get a lot of the jokes on the SP episode, so it would be even more a waste of time than it would be normally to watch it.

My television has *not* been turned on since September 2009. Even I know what the hell Jersey Shore is about (a bunch of Jersey guidos & whores)

Looking forward to tonight's episode. Hopefully I can find a stream so I don't have to wait until tomorrow night to watch it.

The Guitar Hero, World of Warcraft, Vampyre, High School Musical, and Kanye West episodes all beg to differ.

Free Willzyx, showing tonight I might add, is also an excellent episode from about 5 years ago - notably the last scene. I will always remember watching it with my roommate at the time and falling out of my seat laughing at the ending.

Yeah, that one's good, but it's not really pop culture-ish.

The funny thing is that Jersey gets all the blame while 7 of the 9 cast members are New Yorkers. Only 1 is from Jersey. I wonder if Matt and Trey even know this. The Jersey shore is full of NY guidos every summer.
