the only reason daylight savings time even exists is to force people to change there batteries in there smoke detectors and make sure there clocks are set correctly... otherwise, i don't see why it cant be eliminated.

aahhhh that time of the year... spring forward, fall back...

My biggest problem is with getting my children adjusted to the new schedule...

btw, this time around, I didn't hear anyone talking about it at all... say something the home page of yahoo that reminded me...

the whole thing is fucking retarded. Office lights stay on all night for insurance reasons, so what energy are we saving? Car alternator is turning no matter whether the headlights are on, and we have daylight running lights anyway. Road light are on when they are on regardless of daylight saving.
You need lights at home in the morning daylight saving or not, by the time you get home, other than in the summer, you need lights.

Where is the fucking saving?

There should be one time zone. (GMT)
The scientific community has observed this for as long as I remember working with science. (that's too long to mention!)

Speaking of energy savings on the changes that occurred in the USA in 2007 who was the "brilliant" politician that said it would increase global warning? Yes I'm serious they claimed that increasing the amount of sunlight [sic] would cause the planet to warm! D:

I wish they'd move my state (and the one I work in) to permanent EST. There's no reason for non-daylight savings time here, so they should just move us one time zone up and let us be.
