I had a white teacher in high school who was super racist.

granted, it was a prep school, but she seemed to approach the classroom with the assumption that all the whites were spoiled rich kid brats and that all of the non-whites were hard-up scholarship cases who always deserved a second chance.
 
I'm not racist, but I say race-based stereotypical things to my friends who are a different race. Of course, if an overly sensitive person heard these conversations, they could conclude that I'm racist even though I think superiority based on your melanin (not melatonin) is pretty damn silly.

To me, racism is absurd. Joking about stereotypes is hilarious. And yes, there's a huge difference and if you cannot tell the difference, you need to pull your head out of your ass.
 
I believe that every race has equal potential, but some are held back by stupid cultural behaviors and ideals. That way I can still be pissed off at a given race while avoiding the notion that they are inherently inferior. Does that make me racist?
