PSA: please use the stripes that are painted in the parking garage

those stripes delineate 'parking spaces.' yes, i know you aren't used to using them in this building, as they used to be too small for you to fit your camry into. but now that the stripes are car-sized, you have no excuse for not putting all 4 wheels of your car between the lines.

I take it a step further: There's no excuse for not putting all four wheels in the MIDDLE of the lines (or at least close).

I could care less if people at work park properly. It's almost every day these idiots have to back in, and are horrible at it. Takes them 5 minutes to park, and when they are done the car is crooked, and either too close to one side, or crossing over the lines at some point.

The thing is, I drive a huge ford e250 company van, so I will park beside them in the middle of my lines anyways. Too bad i'm never there to see them try to squeeze into their car. And I don' care about door dings in either car either 😉

Some guy in my old office used to park diagonally in two parking spaces (the construction was such that there were two parking spaces between two pillars). This was probably because he didn't want his BMW 5 series or occasionaly an old beatup Merecdez (from early 90's) to be hit by someone.

Though there were a lot of parking spaces available, it irritated me a lot. One day I left a printed note on his car saying " For free parking lessons call 1-800-PARKING"...

Next day onwards he parked perfectly...

that's just asking for someone to mess with your car... pretty stupid.

I hate those people who take up multiple parking spaces so their car doesn't get scratched. All I'm saying is maybe those kids who go around keying cars need to choose their targets wisely.

don't park next to the guy, of course

you can't park next to him if he's taking up two spots between two concrete pillars

I thought the objective was to try to get all your wheels on the lines. I can only ever manage to get one side on the line at a time though. I guess I need a bigger car.

Until I got my new car, I used to make the passengers in my car get out and then attempted to park in whatever space was left when people did that. I could care less if they hit my 12-year-old Volvo, but they'd sure care if they did. And yeah, I HATE people who pull that garbage. I loved parking right on top of them. I almost look forward to my new car being old so I can do it again.

No. If I park within the very very limited space of the slotted parking spaces, some dipsh!t is gonna park right next to me and kick open his/her door and ding my car.
