That term takes me back to my college days when young, immature guys used to blatantly lie to each other about 'boning' this girl or that girl and how the girls would scream like monkeys and crawl up the wall. Or the time when, in the company of jocks, someone would suddenly yell for no reason, as if to get everyone motivated.

I don't know about all that in the OP, but I keep seeing it as X bone as well and think it's a stupid way to write it. XB-one makes more sense IMO but it's still a dumb name.

Given the way Microsoft is marketing the thing, I think it is a pretty accurate moniker for the system. It even translates well into a verb if you're stupid enough to buy one: Oh look, you've been xboned.

Also, get over yourself you miserable pathetic little excuse of excrement. Nobody gives a shit whether it irks you or not.

"Xbone" is more catchy than what Microsoft wants you to call it.."one".


Personally, I just call it "not buying it".
