just thought of something - sometimes we leave comments for a pic ... and that pic can be named something obscure that we would never remember the name again to find it.
What about a history (which links to) the files you left comments for ? A simple linked "history" list of comments left (or even files viewed)... Would that be difficult to implement ?

See the 'Browse Galleries' link, bottom left.
My design for pics 3.0 was a gmail rip-off 🙂Originally posted by: rh71
we were already stealing ideas from it... 😉 I put flickr in the news comments...
you were working on 3.0 also ? Or you meant 2.0 ?Originally posted by: dwell

More than likely, this is a bandwidth-saving device. If we want pics.bbzzdd.com to stick around, I think this is something we might have to live with.Originally posted by: FrankyJunior
I hate that when I click an image it onyl opens it up small again and then I have to click it again in the next screen to get it fullsize. Could add a link from the gallery page to just view it fullsize with one click...
I had 3.0 planned out a year ago and wrote almost the whole back end in PHP5. Over the course of developing it I realized PHP 5 sucked and scrapped the whole thing, got busy and lazy and never got back to it. dnaj wrote me one day asking to code the site and I was like, "Who the **** is this guy?" 🙂Originally posted by: rh71

Hmm, not so sure about that - what do we gain by seeing the image details with the same exact thumbnail again (more loading/bandwidth) ? Is it the hope that the user will give up on it and not go for the full image again ? I just don't see that it was done purposely/exclusively to save bandwidth... but perhaps to see the DETAILS on the image. We'll soon be able to swap click / shift-click according to danny... it's all good so long as it works 100% of the time instead of 60%. 😉Originally posted by: jumpr

Any way the Loading overlay can be toggled off?

Actually you discovered all my alternative lifestyle pr0n and the only way I could get out of you telling everyone was to let you code the site. Now that I am out I don't really care if you tell them 😛Originally posted by: DnaJ
Liar, it was more like "Only if you be my friend".
