Ever finish working on a fantastico installer? I downloaded pics 2.95 but couldn't get it working, mostly because of cpanel's mysql interface. Stuff just didn't match up. I'd love to get pics up and working for a site of mine.
DannyBoy from the forums is writing a super-update to the pics 2.95 code including an installer and better admin interface. I think he will post about it soon.

I wrote like half of pics 3.0 under php5 and scrapped the whole design and am going back to formula on the whole thing under php4 again.

Pics 3.0 should be finished in a couple of days, I'll post a poll like dwell's asked me to do to see if people want bzd.com updated with the new version I've written 🙂

If need be I can provide testing for the new code.

Sounds good Mike, fred's gone through some things with me too.

I should make a correction to my original post, this will be version 2.99, 3.0 will be a complete re-write, eventually, however there's a lot of changes with this version, I'll post a list of updates in a moment 🙂

thanks to DannyBoy, NotFred, and Beau from the AT forums.

Don't forget sully (didn't he write v1?), dwell and Modeps.

MAD PROPS!

Sully invented it. I did 2.0. Dannyboy added so much stuff it's essentially 3.0 now. Modeps pays in blood every time a pic is linked. NotFred has been helping DannyBoy with some code on the upgrade. Beau has always been contributing code and ideas. aves2k is probably responsible for 25% - 50% of the ideas on the site. Can't forget Mookow as he is the bitchslap mod. It's a community thing.

BUT I GET THE CUSTOM TITLE, MUHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHa!

Nice. Yeah, I tried to install it and jesus, that was a damned trainwreck for me.
But, I suck at this webhost stuff so no suprises for me there. 😉
