There are still 5xx server errors that are being addressed. That will have to come second to securing the box. The decision was made to get the server online so others can work on it and refresh the updates. As soon as the box is mostly secure, the smaller items will be resolved.

And yes, i understand it was a may backup because that was themost recent and clean backup that was available. In addition, the person you got the account from should have informed you that the server backup policies have changed.

Sitting here watching the restore go over the net. If I see one more lindsay lohan pic go by I am going to ban pics of her on GP.

bbzzdd is still down. apartment808 is moving to one of DeviousTrap's servers. The situation is we have to leave the server by the end of the month. I am working on several options. I have been doing pics close to three years now and this is the second move. If I am going to move again it's going to be permanent. That's easier said than done but not impossible. Let me work on it. At the least the server should be up sometime tonight either way.

Only one small issue at the moment and I am trying to figure it out. The sessions are screwed up so please do not try logging in.
 
www.claninfamous.com is back up and I'm in the process of switching hosts too.

Question, when I goto Namecheap and login I have to add the IPs for ns1.claninfamous.com and ns2.claninfamous.com and then put those in the DNS right?

No it's not that easy.

1) Contact your web host and advise them you want to register your personalized name servers with your domain registrar. Ask them for your two DNS IP numbers.

2) Login to namecheap, select the domain, in the middle left select register name server

3) You are going to add ns1 and ns2 like this
primary IP = ns1.claninfamous.com
secondary IP = ns2.claninfamous.com

4) Select your domain again, now change your DNS name servers to:
ns1.claninfamous.com
ns2.claninfamous.com

5) Wait 12-24 hours for propogation and you're ready to roll.
 
pics.bbzzdd.com has been restored. I am going over to apartment808 now to fix stuff there.
 
Both sites are back up. Unfortunately I lost 1 months of pics and registrations due to a corrupt backup.

Okay for Namecheap I went to "Modify Domain" then I went to "Nameserver Registration" and under ns1.claninfamous.com and ns2.claninfamous.com I added the two IPs given to me in the email from my host and then I clicked add. Then, I went to "Modify DNS" and added ns1.claninfamous.com ns2.claninfamous.com

Basicly what I said above just alot more detailed.
