PSA: Papa John's chicken wings are terrible

Papa John's chicken "strips" are really good. They're not really strips though, they're more like gigantic nuggets.

It depends. Up in Chicago they blow but down in Champaign IL they rock. Cheap and delicous.

Rule of thumb: Never trust that wings from a place that (does not specialize in/isn't known for) wings.
The difference: If they don't specialize in wings, it is likely the the sauce is frozen as opposed to "basted" on.

Further advice: If they don't have a fair range of sauces and flavorings for wings, they aren't a real wing joint.

Most importantly: Even if they fit the two above statements, if wings aren't good enough to make you want to chew the bones clean, they aren't worth your money 😉

I have yet to eat anything at that place that doesn't suck. I hate Papa John's.
