Yeah, fucking addicts. My mom takes Oxy for pain from Multiple Sclerosis, with it her legs hurt too much to move. She gets to feel like a drug addict every time she gets the prescription filled with dirty looks from the pharmacies. Fuck, if I get Tylenol ones I get asked 10 fucking questions and dirty looks.

I have a lot at the house from dad's recent medical problems. I guess if I give it a week or two I can make a killing off of them.

I kid, they are for personal use... my dad's use I mean.

Yeah I don't understand a backorder unless something happened to the manufacturing of it (like a plant got shut down). Unless it is stolen, addicts get it from the regular prescribers, so I don't see any unexpected surge in prescriptions of it. If anything, the past few years of coverage on it probably has doctors prescribing it to less people.

They're developing abuse-resistant forms of oxycodone. Gelcaps, transdermal patches and long-acting injectables. Those should work for her.

Yeah we have read about that. Sadly, the Oxy's barely work, they don't take the pain away really, just numb her reactions to it. She is seriously looking into just cutting the nerves for her legs to stop it.

Just pisses me off that because of the addicts there are people in "serious" pain who would almost rather live with it, than feel as if they are being labeled drug abusers when they ask for help.

Oxy is the good stuff when it comes to pain. I was on it for a few days after my surgery because it was physically impossible for me to sit or lie down without it. Now I'm on the Hydrocodone which helps take the edge off the pain.

Sucks that there are people that feel they "need" this drug to take away the imaginary pain. Makes it hard for the people that really do need the drug. The constipation is what keeps me from being addicted.

Funny story, when I was 15 I had a friend whose parents kicked him out of his house, my parents took him in. We were selling pot at the highschool out of my basement. Figured we were doing alright, and one day my parents came down and asked to buy a dimebag cause there dealer had vanished

Yeah, they do, Mom has too because of her anti-fatigue drugs to get to sleep, my old man cause of foot pain (club feet). It's a deep nerve pain in the bone, they have tried a ton of drugs and none of them seem to be able to stop it. So they say it is the MS and nothing they can do.

The only time she felt relief was for two weeks when she had to go through steroid treatments due to problems swallowing food. Even that stopped working once her body got use to it though, but they are using that experience to maybe figure something out.

Lack of Good Manufacturing Practices.

We haven't recieved any since late December.
The manufacturer (Ethex) voluntarily stopped manufacturing them.
They recalled Hydromorphone(we don't carry their brand), Metoprolol ER, and Isosorbide Mononitrate(we carried both of this).

So far we already have a replacement for Isosorbide Mononitrate, but not Oxycodone or Metoprolol ER.

So pot is not working out for them. Stay away from the roids, them be dangerous stuff.

yeap. its fucking nuts. In some states they are trying to limit the amount you can buy a year and for those with chronic pain it would not be enough to cover a year. think it came out that most would end up with 4-6 months short. Of course it is also against the law to go to a diffrent state to buy it and bring back.

as it is most with Chronic pain have to go to a "pain clinic" where they do there best to refuse you the actual pain meds you need. and holly hell don't EVERY lose the pills! they brand you a "drug seeker" and good fucking luck getting any pills from anywhere.

I hope they're going to add a bitterant to inside of the tablets.
