PSA: Move over law

i figured this was common sense before it was a law. and it's been a law here for a while.

if they're taking up more than one lane, i'm not obliged to give a fuck, though.

not sure why i knew or who told me but always knew this. Also you have to let buses back on the road by law. And the post man.

I didn't know about this either. Thanks for the (actual, unlike some threads other people make) PSA.

Always wondered about when you can't change lanes due to traffic.

"If drivers can't change lanes or are driving on a two-lane road, they must slow down at least 20 m.p.h. under the posted speed limit."

'tis appreciated.

Some bastard flew past me at 41mph in a 30mph residential area (with moderate traffic too) when I was on a stop the other night...unfortunately I couldn't clear and get to him in time and we had no one else in the immediate area. Fortunately, I was in my car so I didn't get almost-squashed. 😛

Great way to get a ticket, though.

I always just moved regardless. I've been stranded on the highway and cars zipping by as you curse at your car can be a tad harrowing.

I've always moved over when I can for PD/FD/road work crews. I didn't realize it was law now, sorta just assumed it was common sense.

It's a damn shame it had to be made into a law. I will write the ticket in a hot minute, plays hell on your insurance rates as well.

Got a drunk this way about a 3 weeks ago. She FLEW by another copper on an accident, inches from his car. Thank god he was not about to get out.
