People who buy for a pool shouldn't buy their own tickets. If they do, they should provide the numbers from the pool to the others. It would prevent such problems. If I was in that situation I would just share it.

That's how we do it at my work, we make copies of all the tickets and give them out everyone who bought in with a paper of everyone's names that bought in as well.

Well if someone else claims the ticket, she and the other McD's employees are gonna sue them for a cut even though she had no proof she bought it.
 
I think you can claim the winnings for up to a year but after a certain point you can only take the annuity and not the lump sum.
