3 20x10 tickets and 1 20x9 ticket. So we have 60 numbers that will run for another 9 drawings (10 in total), and 20 numbers that will run for another 8 drawings (9 in total).
Oh you will be. We have to give you a chance to redeem yourself.🙂

Not so fast. We're not done for another 5 weeks.😛

Thanks for the explanation and I look forward to the opportunity to redeem myself.

I can't tell if you're being serious, snarky, or depressed. Either way, have a  and chill. We may yet get rich.😛

Which 7-11 was it anyhow? I want to be sure to know what store to avoid in the future.:|

Thanks for the work on this RossMAN, I don't think anyone's really upset that we're going to win the 15mill jackpot.

Didn't get a chance to buy solo ticket, too busy burying my cousin...not too busy to buy in here but still I guess it's cool to see I still have a chance to make a more sizable contribution to his daughters future.

Since it seems like we get a lottery drawing of > $400 million a few times a year at the absolute minimum, personally I think the money should be held over and spent when the drawing is higher again.

Just my thought on it. Id rather you do that than spend it on $15 million lotteries. Not really concerned either way.

If I understand what happened correctly (although I was a little confused) some of the tickets were "numbers x/y/z for this drawing AND the next 9 drawings".

Someone won it, not in California though.

One ticket in Indiana won the whole thing.

I am with this poster.

There are a lot of lurkers came out of the shadow and joined the discussion. Look like money talks eh? Welcome. 🙂

Sooooooo we got the numbers. Funny story, RossMan/7-11 might have screwed up, or really did us a solid, and the last 4 tickets are 10 draws a ticket. It's an honest mistake, so make sure you make fun of him 🙂. Not everyone is used to getting almost $900 in tickets.
don't understand?

$15m annuity = $5M cash after 40% fed/state taxes

$5m / 88 = ~$57k each 😱

ehh.. hookers and blow $ for a few months 😛

Rossman, nothing to worry about at all. Someone else won anyway, so we would have had to split the prize. Nobody here wanted a pathetic split of less than 2 million, that is pocket change. Obviously we are going to do better on a future lotto, this one wasn't meant for us.

"The winning ticket for Friday’s drawing was sold at a Speedway station along Interstate 70 in Cambridge City, a town of about 2,000 residents 50 miles east of Indianapolis." . . Google Maps

The air-ball-randomness is always fascinating . . every line on every ticket has equal odds.

Just woke up, going to head out soon and check the tickets.

Unless the winnings are substantial, we'll use them towards the next MegaMillions (not Powerball) lotto.

If on the off-chance you win, by doing this you are setting everyone up for a series of lawsuits.

As a lawyer in real life, I GUARANTEE that whoever participated in this drawing, but not the next will sue if the next one wins anything substantial. Even among those who participate in both drawings, there will be those that demand extra shares since you rolled over money from this drawing.

Thanks for the advice. What do you suggest that would be fair and equitable to all parties? In the past Vivi bought extra lotto tickets, maybe I'll do that?

If we're not doing any new buyins and just letting the remaining tickets play out for the original players, plus using any minor winnings for a couple more shots, there shouldn't be any issues in my view.
