not bad. can't start off with too much craziness. there were some classic lines though.

"how old will i be when your 40?"
"you'll be dead"

"no, you can't have this. sit over there. you just get to watch."

my take/bets on what will happen this season.

1. campbell becomes an even bigger player in the business.
2. cooper kicks the bucket
3. joan's husband either dies overseas or comes back and gets rid of joan because of the baby.
4. and because of the previews bets and henry go after don because of his true identity.

EDIT: also, i need a GIF of megan cleaning...

megan is "not hot" in a weird way. I feel like I should think she's hot but I don't know. I think she needs braces or something

Agree with #1. I think there's a chance of the rest except #4, I think Betty wants Don back. I also think Betty's gon' die.
 
My thoughts:
* As mentioned above, I thought Cooper quit last season? I seem to recall him resigning over the full page ad they took out in the paper about tobacco companies.
* The tension between Roger and Pete Campbell is heating up, giving some hilarious scenes. Roger asking Pete to "step outside" and "I didn't think so" had my laughing.

It's funny - I was underwhelmed by the episode(s) initially, but today, in talking through them with my co-workers, realize there was a ton of gold in there. I need to go back and re-watch, if only to memorize all the Roger Sterling goodness.

I think Joan's husband comes back, but he's seriously maimed, face blown off, burn wounds, triple amputee type stuff.

Pete v. Roger might get epic.

Yeah more Pete vs. Roger will make this season great. The best part of last season was when they almost came to blows so I'd like more of that please.

Surprised Don spilled the beans about his past to Megan as well, he's always been paranoid about the whole thing so thats very much unlike him.

His marriage with Betty (or whatever) fell apart finally when she found out about Dick, so makes sense for him to get it out of the way.

Peggy's boytoy is hillarious in a crackhead kind of way.
 
I just re-watched the first episode and think I like it a little better. Reading some of the discussions over at TVwithoutpity probably helped, the guys there bring up a lot of crap I would otherwise miss.
 
Man, Betty got fat as fuck! LOL. And that's not just the baby weight that she put on when she had the baby in real life. They did the full-on Peggy Olson fat suit treatment 🙂
