Why aren't you outside watching it?😀
Because it won't be a total eclipse until about 8.

Jump on your Busa and head East about 200 miles. :Q

I need a boat for that.

Besides, time to eat Shrimp Fra Diavolo.

Then outside with the 'snoculars

Telescope setup time. 😀
Dammit it got cold out though. Wish I had a decent digital camera that could also take time exposure pics. I've tried taking regular pictures with a manual-exposure camera. About 1 in 10 was exposed right. 😱
Edit: Screw it, I'll have to wait for pics I guess. Eastern PA, and an hour ago, it was crystal clear out. Now it's overcast horizon to horizon. :| Does this every time there's anything going on in the sky.

BAH! It was so promising, and now that I'm finished the calibration on the camera settings to make it just perfect, clouds just rolled in.

Exposure to 1.3 seconds for those of you who want to know.

I forgot it was tonight. I just stepped out, and I was all like, <Keanu>Whoa!</Keanu>. I wonder if I can get any pictures of this bad boy 😀

Not quite half way now.

I should have rented a 400mm lens and teleconverter for my Elan.

Meebe next time 😀

I took a few shots with my 200mm f/1.8, but I'm pretty sure they came out crappy. I should have used the 400mm with a 1.4x converter, but I would have had to get out the tripod, and I just didn't feel like it. There are some high clouds in the way anyway. I've seen some nice shots where the moon was still pretty low and it was all red and cool looking, but usually eclipse shots are just kind of ho-hum, IMO.

I'm watching it right now. I got some links from /. and got an "official" schedule of the eclipse in my area. Started watching when there was only a sliver of darkness, and going outside every once in a while to check on the moon.
