We close it all the time because our cat would otherwise hang out in the bathroom all the time.

we don't lock the door at my house

the only time the bathroom door is shut is either

A) somebody is using it

B) my kid has plugged the toilet with a monster dung log and it needs to be plunged

BUTT , if company is in the house, i'll lock it or use the master bedroom bathroom

Knock before entering FTW

she told me she had work in the morning!

So... if the door is shut, knock first. Doesn't matter who said what.

Easy way for you to remember:

Door shut = Knock First

Likewise.

Yup. Lock barely even works. If it's closed, somebody's inside. It's never closed without anybody being inside.

We always close the door because our cat likes to hang out in the tub or drink from the toilet...

1. The cat's in the damn bathtub, a lot worse rolls off your skin every day I'd wager
2. Smack them until they start doing it too
3. Irrelevant, oh, and that probably explains why she was naked in the tub and left the door unlocked, she was expecting a visitor other than you.

She screamed, I screamed..

The big question is did you scream like a girl?

I shrieked like a girly man - I didn't even know she was home - the lights were off, the shower was off - i walk in, see a glimpse of her - she screams, I scream and run out. my cat gets freaked out too and.. yeah.. i'm gay..
