PSA: Lilies are highly toxic to cats

The potato itself must not be toxic. It's in several cat foods and my cat would have died years ago if this were true, because he is quite good at stealing french fries.

Except that most are raised with high quantities of corn meal and corn gluten from all the crappy name brand cat foods.

This list is very helpful. I think my cat may have had some hemp...with marijuana on the list, I'm wondering if it's poisonous to her.

They list THC as the active toxic ingredient, so hemp should be OK.

I question the stance in general, though. It's not deathly toxic, at least. If a human were to ingest the per pound of bodyweight equivilent, I'm sure we would suffer from a lot of the same effects. 😉
 
Sorry to hear that. I do have to thank you though it never occured to me to see what could poison my dog now because of this I checked and will be careful.
