Damn...you must have a fancy car...I have to use a removable air filter for mine...and the blinker fluid reservoir is next to the headlight fluid reservoir under the backseat. DO NOT get them mixed up! It's comparable to crossing the streams...(it's a good thing the major manufacturers have them color-coded)

You honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Editing and signing the patent documents that the lawyers have drawn up for the idea I came up with doesn't equal 'shuffling papers'. I have yet to have had a single design decision made by a 'guy in a suit'. I make the call, and if its something that needs to be reviewed it's reviewed by other engineers.

If the 'guys in suits' are making the design decisions without listening to the engineers its time to get out of the company because it's on its way down.
 
What's the point? If, as you say, a quarter of a mile is enough to produce a great increase in tire pressure, who really cares? Stop worrying about what tire pressures people run.

It wastes gas, it wears tires prematurely, both things leading to more global warming and a general waste of money. Why spend money to make up for wasting money? That's like running the Air conditioning because the heater is broke and it's making the house too hot or keeping a window open in your apartment because they keep the furnace too hot.

I work at Honeywell Aerospace in their advanced tech division group for turbine engines. I'm currently working on an engine to replace the T700 in the Blackhawk. We're competing against GE.

No, he doesn't have any idea what he's talking about. He's here for the sake of amusement. The banning of casiotech created a vacuum. It sucked him in. I'm incredibly amused at the thought of anyone taking car advice from him. I think "driving a car" more accurately refers to operating a radio controlled car in his case. What is he? 15? 16?

And I too - even when I was an engineering intern in a large international ceramics company, the company president took my research & recommendations seriously. Fleabag really doesn't have a clue - apparently his entire reality is based upon one EE's post here on the foru..ms... OHHHHhhhhhhhhh, now I get it. He's an "expert" on topics because he's read about them. He actually has zero experience though, but that still hasn't held him back from being smarter than automotive engineers in Korea. And without even a high school diploma! Impressive!

Presumably, his daddy once told him about tire pressure and that makes it the WORD, and nothing anyone else says will change his mind.
