Honestly, I think being accused of being an attention whore, if you're female, often results from not paying ultra-close attention to the type of stuff you're posting. I haven't encountered many problems in that field aside from people who think my names means I'm a snobby, vain bitch. It may not be that you're attempting to come across as an attention whore, only that you're not consciously attempting NOT to come across as such. We, by virtue of our gender, have to kind of watch what we post more than the males do if we don't want negative attention. Not fair, but such is life.

You don't "kapish" yourself. I don't care if she shuts up or stops posting. Anyone who persists in posting PSAs to tell everyone that they are not in fact an attention whore, as if everyone in the forum gave a flying fvck, deserves a bit of a verbal beating. If TuffGirl or anyone else enjoys that, they should go ahead and indulge themselves.
