I don't follow. I just sent some money over the weekend using Western Union to someone in Nigeria. I consider it a sound investment. What's the issue here?
 
I think everyone who buys a new computer should be required to take a training course to get educated on Nigerian scams and sign a release form to say they won't fall for it. The number of people I see in the news getting scammed this way is ridiculous.
 
The lady in that article is a moron. Why didn't she just go down to the local ASCPA or look in the local newspaper? geesh......
 
Yeah some countries shouldn't be allowed on the net.

My mom got one of those dog buying spams the other day. I guess someone thought it was newsworthy.

When you say something that makes absolutely no sense, I tend to respond in the same vein. One absolutely ridiculous generalization merits another one.

I wouldn't want to trouble you by asking you to actually think for a second, but a quick search would have revealed to you that there are more than 100 million residents of Nigeria, 99.9999...% of which have nothing to do with scammers.

Just to offset any percieved racism, I know a Nigerian guy who is an excellent programmer and runs a good business - I would invest in his stuff any day.
