inspired by this thread, as well as about 43423 other threads a day.

if you are going to post a pic of your dog or whatever, we don't want to have to click on a link and see a big ass eye staring at us in the face, then scroll over for 30 minutes just to see the other eye! all you have to do is go into some simple image editing software and use the RESIZE IMAGE function. it is NOT HARD! not to mention it takes up less space!

i am sick of seeing pictures and taking an hour of scrolling to figure out just what the fvck i'm looking at.

Well, he's got a point, I hate viewing a page with a huge 5000x7000 image and i have to sidescroll and scroll every which way to get around the damn monstrous thing. And not everyone can 'get off 56k' either.
 
seconded....browser autoresizing is ok, but reeeeeeeealy degrades the pic moreso imo than resizing it in photoshop.

big pictures are better... maybe you should stop using internet exploder and try something that has more feather than when it came out in '94

IE and Firefox resize pics automatically so what's the big deal?

Yes, I did. Why not just use a browser (or browser settings) that automatically resize the pics for you.

OH... AND REPOST!!!
 
Yeah, modern browsers resize by default.

Also, what a crappy example you chose -- I don't have scroll bars on any of those pics at full size! Use a real monitor resolution.
 
I agree with the OP. And some of us actually turn off the horrible image resize option in the web browser because is CRAP!!!
 
How about a warm heaping serving of STFU?
Maybe some of us like being able to count the individual hairs on the dog's face.
