PSA: If there is a 12:30AM Showing of a movie

12:30 is quite late for kids. When I was a kid, I had to go to bed at 8:00. If I somehow managed to stay up till 12:00 I would be in HUGE trouble if my parents found out about it.

Parents now just let their kids do whatever they want. I hardly ever go to the theatre, but I can only imagine how much of a piss off it must be when there's kids crying in there when you PAID to watch the movie there.

This is why people have home theatre setups and torrents now.

Thats true.

I think the real problem here is theaters in general, not just a specific type of patron. Almost everyone who frequents theaters annoys the hell out of me. Teens. Kiddies. Grown ups of all sorts. They all do something to ruin my experience.

The two worlds are insinuated of being completely separate.

An accident allows the ice age herd to venture into the dinosaur era.

Treat it the same as the religious stories. Entertaining but not scientifically or historically accurate.

However, some of the scientific aspects on how the dinosaurs interacted with each other is valid. Do not deny the children the entertainment because of your biases.
After all, based on your guidelines, they should not watch anything but documentaries.

I would expect that you have not watched any Star Trek or Terminator type movie.
Also, no James Bond or Bourne; let along MIB or Mission Impossible.

hey man, im bringing my 4yr old daughter to see that movie! but shes not an annoying child, shes very content while watching a movie. and besides, i come prepared, any need she might have while there is taken care of immediately and i bring stuff for those situations. only issue would be getting up to use the potty.

I got nothing against kids, but people who

A: Bring their kids to the movies knowing they're not likely to stay quiet through it all

B: Don't either get their kids to be quiet or remove them immediately when they start intruding on the experience of others

C: Take their kids to movies obviously inappropriate for a child their age, at a time where they should long since be asleep (as was the case for transformers)

Should be shot on sight. Okay maybe that's a bit harsh but they should know better >(

That's not his point. His point was that, if you cannot control your children and cannot stop them from being a public nuisance, both the parent and the child need to be removed from the situation. I completely agree with him.

this was my reply's reference. while its a tad much for her age, she loves it. today she wanted to be "oppapus prine" and me to be megatron when we were shopping after the movie. hilarity ensued

james bond, jason borne, mission impossible, terminator, etc. weren't made for kids (i.e. small human puppies who are easily impressionable and will believe anything if it's not ridiculous... like extinct animals living amongst each other)
